To prevent major rust like shown in these photos regular inspections should carried out by either the vehicle owner or an authorised person.
The middle floor section in this Hiace van has been exposed to pool chemicals resulting in major rust damage.
What was left of the floor has been cut out ready for a new floor section to be installed.
A sheet of body metal was moulded to fit the original floor pan.
The new floor section has been MIG welded into place and will be sprayed with a protective coating to help prevent further rust break out.
