This photo shows the newly fabricated section fitted to the area where the rust was cut out. It is imperative the new section is shaped correctly to allow the chrome moulding to fit flush when the windscreen is installed

The fabricated section has now been welded to the existing pillar staunching

Repairs completed, the car was painted by Kris from Kippa-Ring Paint & Panel (1/27 High St, Kippa-Ring). The colour on the repairs is a perfect match to the rest of the vehicle.
